Biography
Don Constant was born in The Pas, Manitoba and raised by his grandparents. As soon as he was old enough he left to pursue other interests.
Don comes from a musical background: Both parents were musicians who performed in local churches in and around the surrounding area of The Pas.
Don's passion for Country Music began in his early teens when he first started playing guitar. After a few years away from music and his hometown Don returned to The Pas to start a trucking business and again pursue music. The Country Musical Group, Don Constant & Friends was organized and began performing in the local community and in casinos in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
"Although we are country music group, I like to think our music is somewhat unique," says Constant. "I'm influenced mainly by country legends like George Strait and Allen Jackson but we play a variety of music to accommodate all age groups, including a lot of our original material."
Don spends all of his free time actively pursuing his love for music. He is deeply involved in booking the band, promoting upcoming appearances, and writing new material.
In 2007 Don released Still Kickin', his second album, on Sunshine Records.
