Biography
J.J. Lavallee is a twenty-six year old Metis from St. Ambroise, Manitoba. J.J. grew up in a musically inclined family, so it was a given that he would become a musician one day. The Lavallee Tradition Band was started by his uncle Dave Lavallee, who introduced J.J. to music. J.J has been playing music for 18 years and began playing the fiddle for the past four years.
J.J. is currently the lead singer and front man of The Freebird Band. J.J and The Freebird Band released their first album, "Jimmy's Breakdown" in April of 2006. J.J. composed the songs Jimmy's Breakdown and Chibby's Breakdown on the project which was produced by Tom Dutiaume and engineered by Yvon Dumont.
