Biography
The band was formed in October 2002 with the guidance and leadership of one Bill Roy. Having being involved with another group at the time, he found himself needing something else to satisfy his craving to become a drummer in a band. Well, low and behold the opportunity sprung up.
A fellow community member was in dire need of some financial assistance and having already owned musical gear, was ready to part with them. For some reason, the pieces began falling into place, money became available and band members became abundant. Bill went on to purchase the musical equipment as they say, the rest in history.
In the infant stages of the band, the alignment included Dyane Kimberly and Derek Maurice along with Bill Roy. But, that soon changed with the addition of the now, voice of Ken Pederson.
Born and raised in Buffalo Narrows, Ken brought a diverse sound to the mix which included a mean harmonica and guitar playing. He began singing at an early age and hasn't looked back since.
With the addition of Ken on vocals and Bill as drummer, a bass player was still needed. And as thing would work out, Ken's old band mate, Chris "Gusbar" Petit, himself a bass specialist was looking for work and wanting to play steady. Back then, our audition was playing live somewhere else and if you stunk, we would, as they say, don't call me, we'll call you deal. Chris did not let us down and soon became our steady new bass player.
As the band began playing, you can tell something was missing. The guitar sound was lacking. With our present guitar player not cutting it and already hinting on leaving the group for personal reasons, Bill turned to one of his long time musical friends, Mr. Kevin Natomagan of Pinehouse Lake, Saskatchewan.
