Biography
Philip Flett originates from the Garden Hill First Nation Manitoba reserve, born and raised there. To this date he has released 8 gospel albums, the latest being “The Prophets of Old”.
He was exposed to singing at a very young age, where his late Father and relatives always had a kitchen music jam sessions. He became intrigued into learning how to play guitar, and eventually started singing.
He believes that Gospel singing brings inner healing to the soul, where it can leave a spiritual impression on ones life. Being an addictions counsellor, he has seen many sufferings among our aboriginal people and is committed to being a helper at Native Addictions Council of Manitoba, he has been employed there for many years now.
He is a father to 5 beautiful girls and became full circle with 2 grandchildren, Raymond & Trinity. He has been married for the past 28 years.
