The Road Forward, is inspired by the Native Brotherhood of British Columbia, street photographs taken by Foncie Pulice in Vancouver from the 1940’s to 1970’s of urban Aboriginal peoples and the countless First Nations women who have been disappeared on British Columbia’s Highway of Tears. The Road Forward fuses historical media, designed by Tim Matheson, a live sculptural installation by Connie Watts, an original composition by Jennifer Kreisberg and live performance that carves a unique form forward to a national and international audience.
The Road Forward will be performed six times to audiences on the closing day and during this rotation, thousands of people from the world over will have the opportunity to experience red diva projects inaugural production.
