Portrait of Spear Point

Spear Point came together in the summer of 2001 with the guidance and mentor, Joe Pahtaykan. We were given the opportunity to understand with high respect the teaching of our native spirituality, especially the meaning of the drum. Through practice and dedication of the singers we have become the drum group that we are today.

Further more, thank you to our drum keeper, Rick Marty for all the things that you have done for the group. Also, we would like to acknowledge the Big Bear Singers for all the encouragement and help that they gave us when we first started on the pow-wow trail. This CD is for all the people that asked if we had any to sell after each pow-wow. Again, thank you to our Creator for all that we have and to share.
