Wayne Goodspirit is a member of the Saddle Lake First Nations Community in Northern Alberta

W.T. Goodspirit is a talented singer, songwriter, and performer who emerged on the music scene in 2005 by winning the Aboriginal Icon talent search in Winnipeg, MB. A year later, he released his debut CD “Give Me A Sign”, followed up with numerous performances due to his commanding voice and show man ship. W.T. Goodspirit is a fluent cree speaker and teacher, which in creating two of the songs on the CD that he wrote and sang in cree, he still sought the knowledge of his mother Lavina Jackson. W.T. Goodspirit acknowledges his songs are dedicated to the love, cherishment and celebration of their beauty both internal and external to all Aboriginal women.
